Here we see some Artificial Intelligence Thoughts from Dr Kai-Fu Lee. In this address he gave at the the Oxford Union we hear how Artificial Intelligence (AI) started, some of the earlier challenges in the field, limitations, and how the world is progressing. It is a truly delightful lecture that takes us deeper into the discipline and how we should think about it. He also touches on the controversial subject of Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) and how today that is still in the realm of fantasy.

About Dr Kai-Fu Lee

He is the Chairman and CEO of Sinovation Ventures, an investment firm focusing on developing the next generation of Chinese high-tech companies. Prior to starting Sinovation Ventures in 2009, Dr Lee was the founding President of Google China. He has also held senior executive positions at Microsoft, SGI and Apple. Named as one of the 100 Most Influential People in the World by Time Magazine, Dr Lee is the author of over a hundred journal and conference papers, as well as seven best-selling books.
