"Embracing the Future" – Morinosuke Kawaguchi

Morinosuke Kawaguchi is Japan’s foremost futurist, a leading innovation and competitive strategy consultant, author and designer. He is the founder and CEO of Morinoske Co. Ltd., a creative future laboratory based in Tokyo.
Morinosuke became well known after the launch of his book Otaku de onnanoko na kuni no monozukuri (Neon Genesis of Geeky-Girly Japanese Engineering), earning the prestigious Nikkei BP BizTech Book Award in 2008. More recently he has written the book “Megatrends 2016 – 2025” in Japanese. As advisor to the Japanese government, Morinosuke Kawaguchi is helping to create the country’s strategy for the future up to 2030 as well as advising some of the world’s largest multinationals. He is also a sought-after keynote speaker at innovation forums and international conferences both in Japan and abroad.
